Training Director

Job Summary   ViewRay is a radiation oncology equipment company that has developed and produces MRI Guided Radiation Therapy System. The MRIdian product is unique in the industry combining Guided MRI technology with Radiation Therapy. This creates a gap in the traditional Radiation Therapy training that we need to fill to prepare our customers to use the system to its fullest potential in a short period of time.   The Training Director position has the responsibility to direct the design, planning and implementation of the Physician, Physics, Clinical and Field Service Training. You will be responsible for creating a training curriculum that addresses the training needs for each area and that includes using all the current tools available. You will be working with subject matter experts, consultants, and other teammates in developing and delivering training to our customers. The ability to interface with a wide range of individuals will be critical to your success You will be responsible for developing a training environment that will help customers be ready to use and see the benefits of this advanced technology and help them to become self-reliant as quickly as possible.   You may be required to work hours other than a traditional 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Work schedules are determined by a combination of, but not limited to, customer obligations, vault availability, and manager input. This position will report to VP, Global Customer Support. Responsibilities Provide leadership, ownership and oversight of Clinical and technical education programs and budgets Provides leadership in curriculum planning, program development, implementation, and program feedback for the four major customers Physicians Physicists Clinicians Field Service Engineers and Biomedical Professionals Develop training based on current methodologies including: Physician Preceptorships Classroom training Online/eLearning Computer Based Training Engages in benchmarking to identify best practices exhibited by peer organizations Develop SMEs as instructors and provide coaching to improve instructional quality Provide update training to Applications Specialists as required Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices Education, Experience, Skills BS degree in Education, Business, Applied Science or equivalent training and experience medical technology training. 3-5 years' experience as a clinical training manager or specialist with the desire to expand your scope of responsibility Ability to develop and deliver engaging course content Ability to attract and manage training specialists Track record in designing and executing successful training programs Excellent communication and leadership skills Accepts accountability for timely results and attention to detail. Is flexible and willing to embrace change/shift priorities on a regular basis.Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training materials Excellent written and oral communication skills Must be able to work around high strength magnets.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
