National Accounts Exec

Job Description
Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants and other experts builds close relationships with each customer, providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection and operational strategies. The Performance Foodservice team delivers delicious food, but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.
Job DescriptionPosition Responsibilities:
Manages business activities and the business relationship between PFG and one or more program multi-unit restaurant accounts.
Communicates projected product demand to procurement for inventory purchase and order fulfillment
Communicates customer order and delivery needs to operations for routing and delivery scheduling.
Insures contracted pricing of product orders and delivery charges and resolves invoice discrepancies with customer locations.
Manages the internal process to prepare for new accounts or significant changes in volume to insure readiness to meet order volume and delivery schedules.
Coordinates disposition of proprietary customer inventory in the event of account resignation or turnover.
Meets with customer representatives to discuss service satisfaction, propose product alternatives or resolve problems.
Insures that customer invoices are paid according to credit agreement and works with problem customers to resolve outstanding invoices.

Required Qualifications
Experience:
Three (3) years' experience handling food service accounts, purchasing, management or related industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
