The city of Oakwood is currently accepting applications for a part-time Code Enforcement Officer.
Primary responsibilities include performing pre-sale and rental inspections, identifying violations of property maintenance and zoning ordinances, and assisting the public on property maintenance and zoning matters.
The part-time Code Enforcement Officer exercises initiative and independent judgment in interpreting and ensuring compliance with property maintenance and zoning ordinances.
The position requires frequent contact with the public requiring courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.
Applicants must have a valid driver's license.
The successful candidate must have a good driving record and be able to communicate effectively with individuals verbally and in writing.
Work hours will be a set schedule of 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, to be determined at hire.
COMPENSATION:
Current pay range is $17.
98/hr.
to $25.
74/hr.
Entry rate is contingent upon applicant's skills, knowledge and abilities.
